Writer-director Ari Aster is teaming up with the Clown Prince of Crime Joaquin Phoenix for his next film 'Disappointment BLVD', described as an 'intimate, decades-spanning portrait of one of the most successful entrepreneurs of all time.'

Aster continues to remain with A24 for this picture, having already financed and produced Aster's previous projects, acclaimed horrors 'Hereditary' and 'Midsommar'.

Despite there being little information about his upcoming film, it seems Aster is departing from the horror genre having turned it on his head. He previously alluded that his next project would be a four-hour, 'nightmare comedy', although it's not clear what exactly film he was talking about.
